They’re a keen bunch in St Neots. They built and rapidly expanded a miniature railway on the most unpromising bit of land imaginable, on the flood plain, badly overgrown, but crucially, in the middle of town.

Bow Hills Railway
It doesn’t open to the public very often, but this remote hill railway in Worcestershire is well worth a visit if you get the chance.

Howard Burford – an Obituary
Howard Burford was the ‘tram man’ wh produced a couple of unique 7.25″ trams that really did pick up power from overhead cables by pantograph, just like the real thing.
