Not as you might think from the USA but the story of one man’s dream to keep steam alive in Australia, the locomotive he commissioned, and the 12″ gauge railway they built in the outback to run it. A 12″ locomotive, based at 1:3 scale on a rough-neck 3-foot gauge backwoods wood-burning Baldwin… of about 1910.
