A wonderful line and associated toy museum in a far-flung corner of North Cornwall. Fast becoming the national collection of chunky 10.25-inch rolling stock. It’s only open two or three times a year, but do make the effort to visit
Sea Point Miniature Railway, Cape Town
One of those stories that’s hard to believe – a World War, distant South Africa doing its patriotic duty to help the allies. How? A 5-inch gauge railway, of course!
Brandhojbanen
From the very bottom of Africa to a small Europen country in the north of Europe, the Brandhojbanen Miniature Railway is a 7.25-inch line built as part of a project to restore a landscape scarred by sand and gravel workings
