Belle Vue Miniature Railway
The Belle Vue Miniature Railway (there were actually several different lines) was one of the 15-inch lines that ‘got away’, primarily because the site lost money and was eventually closed. Not a trace remains, but the locomotives and some of the stock are safe.
The Ballyteague Miniature Railway
The Republic of Ireland has always lagged a little behind the UK in the miniature railway world, but that’s now changing fast. Ballyteague is one of the recent crop of new 7.25″ lines built in the Republic.
Arkinglas Estate
One of the very first miniature railways, and we can hardly call this a ‘line profile’, because there are no contemporary photographs, and virtually no evidence!
